California Legacy

Heyday and Santa Clara University formed a partnership to create a publishing, outreach, and educational program devoted to writing drawn from California's past.

The Inlandia imprint is coproduced by Heyday and the Inlandia Institute. Inlandia Institute is a lively center of literary activity located in Riverside, California. It grew out of the highly acclaimed anthology Inlandia: A Literary Journey through California's Inland Empire, published by Heyday in 2006. Inlandia Institute strives to nurture the rich and ongoing literary traditions of inland southern California. Its mission is to recognize, support, and expand literary activity in the Inland Empire by publishing books and sponsoring programs that deepen people's awareness, understanding, and appreciation of this unique, complex, and creatively vibrant area. Sierra College Press

In 2011, Sierra College Press and Heyday entered into a multi-year publishing partnership to produce high-quality books on the Sierra Nevada. Sierra College Press is the first complete academic press operated by a community college in the United States.

The University of California's Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) bridges local horticultural issues with the power of UC Research. Heyday is pleased to distribute twenty-three ANR titles that give practical, science-based advice to gardeners, small-scale farmers, and home winemakers.
