Enjoy an easy ramble and get journaling with John Muir Laws!

Bring your own bowl, spoon, and potluck treat to share for lunch. Your potluck item should be packed for the trail as we will not be back at the cars when we eat. The trail is a fairly easy ramble but there are no developed facilities or water on the site. See a trail description here. If rain is forecasted for the day of the field trip, the trip may be canceled or relocated to an indoor venue. Check the program description Sunday morning before leaving for updates and changes.

Directions: Start at the junction of Alfred Avenue and Sousa Drive in Walnut Creek. This location is easily reached from the North Main exit from 680 North- or Southbound. Turn right onto North Main, then turning left on San Luis Road (gas station on corner), left onto Alfred and left again to the dead end at Sousa. Meet by the little trailside kiosk at the end of Sousa.

The program is open to all ages and ability levels. No registration necessary. $20 suggested donation. More info here.
