As many remember, Sunday waffles with Dave Brower at his home in Berkeley were legendary gatherings of environmentalists from the Bay Area and beyond — from veteran activists to the newest “recruits” just out of college. Tales of adventure were told, new friendships were forged, strategies were planned, waffles were eaten, fun was had, and the history of our movement was shaped at these lively brunches hosted by the famed and visionary environmental leader who loved to tend the waffle irons! We invite you to celebrate Dave’s centennial, share a few stories, help us continue his legacy of environmental innovation, and take a turn at flipping some waffles! Signed copies of The Wildness Within: Remembering David Brower will be available for purchase.

$20 for adults, $10 for children; for more information or to RSVP visit earthisland.org/DRB100brunch.
